All About Country Meadow Creations!

I started this company in 2000 out of a desire to be a work-at-home-mom.  I have two children and wanted a business that I could create the product, and be involved in all aspects of running the business.  I was able to use my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management to help me to succeed as a business owner.

Why choose to make glycerin soap?  My infant daughter developed eczema and I found out I was allergic to lanolin and goat's milk.  I tried some handcrafted soap & loved the way it felt on my skin.  I didn't develop any reactions, and neither did my daughter.  The decision was made!  After doing extensive research I realized that handmade soap had so many benefits as compared to mass-produced soap by the big retailers.

Do I ever have reactions to handcrafted soap?  Sure I do, but that's okay because I can usually pinpoint my situation to a specific oil or fragrance oil I have used.  Every person's skin is different, so some ingredients may cause a reaction to some people's skin.  The best way to prevent that is to find out what the ingredients are in the products you are using on your skin.  These are the ingredients I use in my soaps.  If you aren't sure you should use a product, test it first in a small area to see if you have a reaction.  Remember- Not all products work the same on everyone!

All soap on this site is handcrafted by the owner, that's me!  You won't find mass-produced soap sold here!

The recipes used in my products were created by me and have undergone testing on myself, family, and friends to ensure the highest quality product.

Custom-blended scents are created and hand-blended by me, and are available only at Country Meadow Creations.
